Open Screen is a Community Interest Company (CIC) so we’re not only interested in what you have to say, we’re also interested in getting you involved in this exciting online television initiative. So, how can you get involved? Here are just 8 suggestions…
Volunteers
If you have spare time, you might want to volunteer some of it to OSTV. There are lots of things that have to be done to develop the project even further and you could also gain some really worthwhile experience. If you’re interested, contact us and we’ll send you more information, as well as a Volunteer Form to complete and return to us.
Programme Providers
If you’ve made a programme in the past and you feel that’s it’s suitable for one of our channels, let us know about it. We’ll have a look at it and let you know what we decide. It doesn’t have to be a commercially produced programme but it should be interesting or informative or entertaining and, if it’s promoting what’s going on in Dorset, so much the better. Contact us and we’ll send you more information about how to submit your programme to us.
Programme Producers
Everyone has an idea for a television programme so what’s your idea? Before going ahead with your video project, speak to OSTV and we can give you advice and guidance on how best to approach your project and how best to prepare it to be shown on one of our channels. Contact us for more information.
Programme Presenters and Voiceovers
If you’ve been dreaming about presenting a news programme or a documentary or a chat show or whatever, you should get in touch with us. If you don’t feel that you want to be in front of the camera but would rather do voiceovers for programmes, no problem, just contact us and we’ll provide you with the information you need.
Training
Later in 2010, OSTV will be providing training on a variety of subjects, all related to running a TV Channel – producing programmes, camera, sound, editing, scriptwriting, presenting, news reporting and much, much more. If you’re interested in being considered for our training courses, contact us and let us know what you’re interested in. When the time comes, we’ll send you all the information you’ll need to make your decision about Training with OSTV.
Blog Comments
Everyone loves a good blog and the OSTV Blog needs your comments, so check out what we’re saying and give us your views. It’s simple and it’s quick. Just click and go to the OSTV Blog and make all the comments you want.
Programme Reviews
Now everyone can be a TV Critic. When you view any of the programmes on OSTV, you can give us your feedback. We don’t expect you to be criticising everything, by the way. You could be a lot more positive if you feel like it. Was the programme worth watching? What was good about it? Should we follow it up with more information? Do you have ideas for similar types of programme? Whatever your feedback, let’s here it.
Project Supporters
There are dozens of ways for individuals, companies and organisations to support the OSTV project. If you can’t think of any, contact us and we’ll give you plenty of ideas. The more we can develop OSTV, the more we put Dorset on the map and the more we can serve all the community, business and other interests of the people of Dorset. Get in touch. Contact us today to arrange a chat.
